Whitworth Fine Thread 2 DIN 240

The Whitworth Fine Thread 2 DIN 240 is a historical thread standard. This British fine thread is no longer in use, replaced by the Whitworth Fine Thread BS 84. The Whitworth Fine Thread 2 DIN 240 has a flank angle of 55°. The pitch is measured in threads per inch, consistently varying only between 10, 8, or 6 threads per inch.
